Atlanta : Main water beaks outside Atlanta cause road and school close.
Wednesday: In Morning main water breaks out has left resident outside Atlanta without water, more than this water gushed into neighborhoods and flooded a major portion of highway, because of which hundreds of schools closed down and many business also suffered loss due to this problem.
The crack occured in a 48 inch transmission in the Doraville area, just northeast of Atlanta, Dekalb Country said in this latest statement.
It is not exactly clear that how many resident had lost water supply or had little water in their house.
It appeared to be very severe situation that authorities opened the Dekalb Country Emergency Operation Center to handle the situation and deployed state government resources to reduce the impact of the break, this has been said by the officials in mid-morning updates.
The are which comes under the effect of this break are: The Country's Water Plant which experiencing low water pressure, local resident were being asked to save water beforehand to avoid any uncertainties. It is being said by the authorities that 8 numbers of water tankers were being brought to the country for the supply of water to protect the are from fire and also to provide some water to local hospitals (as said by the authority).
Not even common people but even police also suffering form NO WATER Situation in their headquarters in the near by city Tucker.
The unexpected school closure left thousands of student stay at home and worries for their parents to make arrangements for their children.
